We’re going back to the ’80s as American Horror Story: 1984 moves closer. The grim FX anthology series, with a new horror to behold with each season, just launched their first full-length trailer for their upcoming ninth season featuring all things ’80s.
In the trailer, you are bombarded by headbands, yoga, flashy clothes, and some would cheesy dialogue. This is on top of the fruit-stripe colored van complete with a couch in the back, and big, poofy hair.
The new season, dubbed 1984, follows a group of people that go to a camp as one of their friends got a job as a counselor there. Meanwhile, at a mental hospital, a patient under the moniker Mr. Jingles escapes.
The camp, which was revealed as Camp Redwood, was apparently the site of the worst camp massacre ever. Not much more is public about the upcoming season. What we do know is it will be premiering September 18, 2019.
